The future of fitness? — Meet Young & Yoked

Have you ever tried working out and felt lost or felt like you didn’t know what you were doing?

Or, gone on a diet, hired a personal trainer, and received no results?

I can tell you from firsthand experience that all of these things have happened to me. And I am sure that many of these situations happened to you. This is not uncommon; it is the norm. A study conducted by Harris Interactive found that 73 percent of people who had fitness goals failed.

So, who's to blame for this? Are these failures due to people’s lack of willpower? Do people fail because they don’t know what to do in the gym? Are personal trainers too expensive or inefficient?

These are great questions that I have heavily analyzed. Through a substantial analysis of my own experiences along with the results of my peers and family, I am confident that I have the answer.

So, let's dive into it….

A Proper Guide

Through thorough analysis, the reason for so many failures when it comes to achieving fitness goals is a result of one thing: not having a proper guide. But, not just any guide. A guide that has four major parts: essential mindsets that will get you through anything, nutrition plans to keep you in top shape, workout programs, and key facts and specifications for working out. Let me explain. If you develop the proper mindsets and habits, then you will have no issue training hard in the gym. If you have the right nutrition and training, you will be able to crush your goals. And lastly, if you have the proper knowledge and your coach teaches you how to train, you will be able to maintain your habits for the long-term.

Now, you might be thinking to yourself, why should I listen to you. What makes you think that you got the answer? Where’s your proof? So, below this paragraph, I am going to share with you two mindblowing testimonials from my past clients who have gone through the precise training I listed above. They accomplished this with no expensive personal trainers, no nutritionists- none of that. The only thing they used was hard work, determination, and Young & Yoked’s online training programs.

SO, HOW CAN I GET RESULTS?

To change your physique and to accomplish your fitness goals, the key is to follow the four pillars we mentioned above. To get your mental game right, to get your nutrition and workouts right, and to get the proper knowledge of working out and nutrition.

However, it is almost impossible to execute on your own or with so-called “fitness experts.” In fact, in my first year of training, I listened to “fitness gurus” and injured my rotator cuff because of false information. But, I desired to change this. I aspired to provide the world with the four pillars that I needed when I started training, so I decided to start Young & Yoked.

THE VISION

Young & Yoked’s vision is to help teenagers and young adults from all across the world achieve their peak physical capabilities and become the best version of themselves.

We dream of a day where instead of people failing 73% of the time, they can succeed. Young & Yoked aspires for a day when teens and young adults from all across the world can crush their goals and maximize their potential. We want to use these four pillars and help teens from all across the world level up and change their lives!

I wake up every day eager to help people get fit because I think back to a time when I wasn’t Young & Yoked. When I was lazy and lacked ambition for my life, but changed because of fitness. I remember when I was a skinny kid inside the gym at 13-years-old and yearned for guidance.

After benching 335 at 15-years-old, winning two state records, and developing these four pillars, I decided that I needed to give this guidance to others. I wanted to help high schoolers and college students get the results they so desperately longed for, which drove me to create the Young & Yoked. The wish to get people's peak results is what inspired me to build online workout programs, specially designed for each body type and every level of lifter. Workout plans that I can 100% guarantee will get you results.

If you read this far, you are probably thinking — how can I get this program? As you all know, we are all in quarantine right now. But, as soon as this quarantine ends, we plan to launch. So stay tuned for that!

Through our extensive research and effort we have come up with a rational three-month timeline outlining our pursuits in furthering our mission:

April 2020

  • Look for two essential hires — a Cheif Sales Officer and a Cheif Marketing Officer. Both positions will allow us to scale and help the largest number of teens.
  • Identify ways to pivot with Covid-19 and help high-schoolers and college students excel in their fitness pursuits while at home.
  • Build on the back-end of the website and work on overdelivering for our customers.

May 2020

  • Begin recruiting and training ambassadors from different universities and high schools.
  • Finalize the two central hires: the C.S.O. and C.M.O
  • Finalize a well-run website where we serve and love our customers by over-delivering on value.

June 2020

  • If gyms re-open, we will launch. If not, we will continue serving our customers through our youtube and social media channels.

Final thoughts

Without a proper guide in the gym, it is almost impossible to succeed. If you aren’t mentally tough, don’t have the right nutrition plan, workout guide, and tips and specifications, you are practically guaranteed to fail. I am disheartened by the fact that there are so many teenagers around the world failing and getting injured because they lack the right knowledge to kill it in the gym. So, I needed to create positive change. I decided to build Young & Yoked and help teens all across the world maximize their potential and live the life they were called to live.
